Panhandle Veterinary Services is a multi-doctor mixed animal practice in Chipley, Florida. We take pride in our personal and high-quality service! We have a beautiful 6700 sq ft hospital, complete with a modern large animal treating facility, including "suites" to hospitalize the big 'uns. We are able to complete small animal services including preventative medicine, digital radiography, ultrasound, and dentistry!

We are seeking a Full-Time Kennel Technician to help provide outstanding patient care and client service in a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital.

The Kennel Tech is responsible for maintaining back of hospital duties. These tasks include: caring for boarding animals, maintaining appropriate feeding schedules/providing prescribed medication to pets, maintaining the kennel area (cleaning and mopping), bathing animals and upholding the highest level of care for all pets. Additional duties may include general cleaning of the hospital and communicating directly with clients.

Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, dependability, healthy and positive communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Our next team member will be an energetic people-and-pet person with excellent work ethic and social and organizational skills. Must be willing and able to work flexible hours and weekends.

Close to the Alabama and Georgia borders but only one hour from beautiful beaches, Chipley is conveniently located between Tallahassee and Pensacola. Hundreds of lakes and clear streams, green forests and unspoiled land are home for a variety of wildlife. These peaceful surroundings offer abundant hunting and fishing grounds. Boating and waterskiing are favorite pastimes of many residents with Falling Waters State Recreation Area drawing participants in hiking, swimming, camping, photography and picnicking.
