Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a Full-Time (37.5 hrs/wk) Juvenile Court Clinician at our Worcester site.


The Juvenile Court Clinic located in Worcester, provides evaluations of court-involved youth who are referred by juvenile court judges. Throughout five court sessions in Worcester County, judges have used our services for evaluations pursuant to Child Requiring Assistance (formerly CHINs), delinquency cases and same-day crisis evaluations to assess acute risk for self or others. The Juvenile Court Clinic also conducts evaluations for civil mental health, and forensic and substance use commitment cases. Juvenile Court Clinic services include written clinical and forensic evaluation reports, case consultation, crisis intervention, referral for further services, and testimony as needed.


  • Provide comprehensive written reports to the Juvenile Court and informal and formal testimony if needed.
  • Clinical skills specific to working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Grade C16 Clinician III Must have a master's degree in social work and be a LCSW in MA
  • Skill in culturally competent, written comprehensive mental health evaluations of children, adolescents, and families.
  • Conduct court-ordered evaluations for the Juvenile Court in status matters (Child Requiring Assistance), delinquency and youthful offender cases, child abuse and neglect cases (Care and Protection), civil commitment (mental health and substance use) and other evaluations per Massachusetts General Laws and guidelines of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH). The JCC program will provide training and supervision for such evaluations
  • Master's degree in social work
  • Respect diverse views and approaches, demonstrate Standards of Respect, and contribute to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
  • Grade C18 Clinician IV Must have a master's degree in social work and be a LICSW in MA
  • All candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. For more information, click here.
  • Preferred LICSW in Massachusetts; LCSW will be considered
  • Provide consultation to families, probation officers, judges, other treaters, residential programs, schools, physicians, DCF, etc. about court-involved youth and families.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle is required. Some travel between court sites required.
  • Provide referrals for court-involved youth and their families to mental/behavioral health services in their communities, and other supports or services as needed.
