Job Description

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Clinician in Worcester County.


Staff at Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Services (YMCIS) work as a team to provide emergency response to youth and families experiencing a behavioral health crisis. We provide assessment, intervention, and stabilization to youth and their families in community-based settings including homes, residential treatment centers, schools, as well as hospital emergency departments.


  • Maintain necessary documentation and records.
  • Must hold a current valid US-issued driver’s license and a registered, inspected and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.
  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, and tolerance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of managed care and health insurance systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and their providers to stabilize youth in crisis.
  • Provide crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation.
  • Must have working knowledge of current version of the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
  • Partner with paraprofessional staff to serve youth and their families
  • Grade C08- Clinician III Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Strong computer/word processing skills.
  • Provide psychiatric and substance abuse evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in home, community, clinic, and hospital settings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
  • Grade C12- Clinician IV Master's degree in a clinical course of study (social work, psychology, counseling or related field) and LICSW licensure or licensed Psychologist
  • Coordinate referrals to other levels of care and community providers. Maintain linkages to community providers.
  • Must be licensed or license eligible- LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or CAGS.
  • Must possess excellent intake, interviewing, and assessment skills.

  • Actively participate in supervision and staff meetings.
  • 1 or more years of experience providing clinical services to youth. Preference given for those with experience in fast-paced settings.
  • Must have excellent clinical, written and verbal skills, and the ability to complete thorough and accurate documentation within an electronic health record.
