Junior Traffic Engineer Jobs

Job Summary

Fastech Consulting Engineering is a fast-growing Civil Engineering firm. We have an immediate need of Junior Traffic Engineer for our client PANYNJ in Manhattan.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Developing designs, from concept development through final design for transportation infrastructure. This includes roadway widening, Parking lots, pedestrian bicycle, and mass transit facilities.
• The Junior Traffic Engineer will work closely with the Senior Engineers, Project Managers & team members in Midtown NY office. This is an opportunity to interact and work as part of a team servicing Fastech clients, including the PANYNJ.

Qualifications and Skills

• BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited college with 1-3 years of experience in Traffic Engineering
• Experience with HCS, Synchro/Simtraffic, AutoCAD, AutoTURN and GuidSIGN software a plus
• Candidates must possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organizational skills, attention to detail, be proactive in nature, and have exceptional technology
• Working knowledge of the MUTCD, HCM, HSM, ITE publications, ADA regulations, and PANYNJ standards a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Word and MS Excel
