Job Description
Position Summary


A program of Public Health Institute (PHI), the Ventura County Coordinating Center (VCCC) is established to support the planning and implementation of the Ventura County Community Information Exchange.


The VCCIE junior project manager will support the VCCIE Program Management Office (PMO) under the direction of the VCCIE Program Associate. The project manager will generate reports from the project management system and communicate upcoming deadlines and milestones to the program team.


The position will initially be a part-time regular position that is expected to work 20% to 50% FTE (8 – 20 hours/week) with an opportunity to increase FTE as the demand grows. The starting FTE will be determined upon hire.


This is a remote California based position.


Full pay range for this position: $22.47 to $31.31 per hour. The typical hiring range for this position is from $22.47 (minimum) to $26.89 (midpoint) per hour. The starting wage is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, as well as budget availability.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Work with project management software to run reports for program leadership review.
  • Communicate with the program team on upcoming priorities and milestones due.
  • Work with the Program Manager to establish priorities and develop special projects using the project management software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work with work stream leads to ensure all activities are current and on time.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Minimum 3 years of administrative or clerical experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.


Other Qualifications


  • Ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Experience with project management software- preferably Monday.com software.
  • Detailed oriented with strong ability to work collaborative with senior leadership to track and monitor activities.
  • Experience in project management or related responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
