Job Description
The Junior IT Program Manager is responsible managing our company's IT programs and projects. The Junior PM must focus on attaining the knowledge and experience to continue to develop as a PM. The Junior PM will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT initiatives, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the company's business objectives.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :.


  • Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure the project is on schedule. Take corrective as needed.
  • Develop the detailed program plan for the enhancement or development effort
  • Responsible for the capture and reporting of required program management metrics.
  • Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan.
  • Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the program plan.
  • Prepares status reports on a periodic basis for program team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders.
  • Analyze and distribute reports on program metrics associated with work items related to improvement measures.
  • Adjust and revise estimates when necessary.
  • Communicate and work with users and client as necessary.
  • Coordinate and present proposals to agencies as necessary.
  • Notify team leads of project timelines, milestones, phases, work requests target dates, and approved executable work package.
  • Ensure all changes to scope follow processes and are documented.
  • Ensure processes and activities are followed.
  • Accountable for the final program management evaluation review with stakeholders for approval upon program completion.
  • Responsible for tailoring and giving a baseline all program templates.
  • Must be able to obtain National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) security clearance, if required
  • Accountable for activities with excess delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months
  • Accountable to schedule or monitor status reviews, peer reviews, program management inspections, and quality assurance work product and process reviews with the appropriate designated resources.
  • Ability to manage all network/infrastructure projects to include design, installation, and transition to support


QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Previous experience managing infrastructure projects highly desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with managing network transitions and new designs preferred
  • Experience with Asana desired
  • PMP certified desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of government contracts, processes, and proposals desired
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Minimum 4 year degree or equivalent technical study
