Job Description

Perfecta is looking for an outgoing and dedicated individual to join our team as a Product Manager. The Product Manager is responsible for rapid adoption of software solutions deployed to customers and customer support tasks at external sites. The Product Manager develops and delivers product training to users, performs product demonstrations (demos), supports on-site installations and troubleshooting, conducts system testing, resolves operational issues in the field, and ensures proper task management so that all work progresses according to schedule.


To be successful in this customer-facing role, the ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervisor, possess excellent problem-solving and time management skills, and reliably perform at a high level. Ultimately, a top-notch Product Manager should have strong communication, sales, marketing, and customer service skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage work progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Capture metrics and feedback to identify and mitigate capability gaps.
  • Deliver briefings to Senior Leadership.
  • Facilitate rapid adoption and employment of systems and programs within the customer enterprise.
  • Become the subject matter expert on Perfecta’s suite of software products.
  • Identify system issues and work with technical team to perform troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide on-site technical support and perform customer support tasks.
  • Determine customer needs and offer recommendations to enhance User experience.
  • Track and document work progress and write service reports.
  • Document changes, revisions, or problems.
  • Provide training and support through in-person, virtual, and desk-side support to system and program users.
  • Perform demonstrations (demos) of systems and programs.
  • Prepare product user guides and marketing material.
  • Coordinate with other functional areas to ensure the latest program updates have been captured in any instruction materials.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field


Skills & Knowledge:

  • Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a related service role
  • Good teamwork, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening and empathy
  • Expert-level user in MS PowerPoint
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to speak in a public forum and the ability to interact effectively with others
  • Experience in Training and Development a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain TS/SCI
  • Some travel required
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, to include weekends or nights to meet customer Operations and Training requirements
