Junior Product Designer Jobs

Our client, Client who provides health insurance in the United States to more than 106 million people is seeking a Jr. Product Designer to join their team.

As a Jr. Product Designer, you will be part of the Designing team. The ideal candidate will have soft skills, able to be taught, humble, team first mentality which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Remote Junior Product Designer

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $50/hr on w2

What’s the Job?

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behavior.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Support the product design strategy across multiple platforms and products, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Learn to understand and incorporate business goals into the design process, creating solutions that support business outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to assist in the implementation of designs.

What’s Needed?

Nice-to-Haves

• Basic front-end development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Bachelor's degree or certificate in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant internship or work experience.
• Familiarity with development-specific applications, such as GIT and Storybook.
• Interest in A/B testing and data-driven design.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process.
