Pricing Analyst

Our client develops the next-generation technologies that change how millions of users rent. Pricing Analyst is a new role within the Research Team, responsible for determining the market rent levels of the residential rental properties in multiple geographic areas.

Responsibilities

● Evaluate rental properties for clients in need of a leasing solution

● Derive estimates supported by multiple sources of information

● Regularly investigate market prices/strategies and recommend changes to ensure subject units are competitive

● Respond to the flow of client requests to ensure timely responses

● Collaborate with the broader Research Department in improving processes and internal tools

● Interact with the Acquisitions Team to understand client needs and communicate your developed views

● Complete ad hoc analyses upon request

Minimum qualifications include

● Attention to detail

● Some exposure to residential real estate and basic understanding of the typical leasing processes

● Ability to impute a value based on comparable observations

● Quantitative reasoning skills, ability to identify patterns and trends

● Proficient at using spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets), including pivot tables and vlookups
