About the Role

We are seeking a Junior Photographer to join our Marlborough based Photography department. Reporting to the Head Photographer, you will perform all aspects of studio and onsite photography for our catalogues and website, execute post-process Photoshop work and color corrections, manage files and upload images to company database. You will also create and manage photo lists, move property to and from the set as needed, keep to ongoing deadlines and travel as necessary.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Shoot ing

• Ensure photography deadlines are met
• In studio and offsite locations as required
• Retouch images and review photographs for quality & consistency
• Shoot for catalogues, advertising, and website
• Follow established dept. standards and best practices as they relate to each sale category
• Safely handle property on and off set

Technical

• Maintain set and equipment

Administrative

• Attach files to company database
• Create and maintain photo lists
• Process and manage files

In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Passion for photography and staying relevant to trends changes in industry
• Proficiency with Mac platforms and file management systems
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail
• 1+ years professional studio experience
• Ability to prioritize and adhere to fast deadlines
• Experience photographing a wide range of property including both 2D and 3D works of art
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
• Experience in studio lighting techniques and catalog photography
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Knowledge of Phase One digital capture and Adobe Photoshop
• Be able to lift up to 30 lbs, walk up and down stairs throughout the workday, including pushing, pulling and lifting items using proper lifting/moving techniques.
