Junior Developer Jobs

Allsynx has an immediate opening for a REMOTE Junior Developer.

The ideal candidate will be:

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry research and stay up to date on best practices, competitor UI designs and emerging technologies.
• Other duties as required.
• Commit to safety in all work practices.
• Develop unit tests.
• Develop software systems using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.
• Work with other team members on design of software systems including completion of peer reviews.
• Collaborate with other departments to address product, marketing, business needs, and meet company goals.
• Adhere to all company policies and rules.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct software defects.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required, or any combination of related work experience and education equivalent to 1-3 years of experience.

Technical Skills

• Experience developing with Microsoft.NET (C# & ASP.NET).
• Experience developing using ORMs (Entity Framework preferred).
• Experience developing using relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server preferred).
• Experience developing web-based APIs (preferably GraphQL).
• Experience working in an agile development environment preferred.
• Experience with development of web-based applications.

Other Skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs.
• Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, and establishing priorities.
• Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. Individual should prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
• Must have good conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex issues.
