.Net Developer (Junior)
Position Description
CGI is looking for an experienced .NET Developer (Junior) to join our Applications Development and Maintenance team, supporting our client's large number of COTS and custom applications, and working in an advanced technology environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to data flow
  • As a Developer, you will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of a complex project module.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues.
  • Participate in project planning sessions with technical and functional leads, business analysts and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution
  • Responsible for translating software requirements into workable web based applications, including writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting applications using .NET programming languages and development tools.
Write code according to specifications, Diagnose and fix bugs in conjunction with QA team
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
  • Knowledge of C language programming.
  • Degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of data modeling concepts
  • Knowledge of Software Development as a software developer, developing Web Application
  • Knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of Relational Database
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes, spanning requirements/issue management, defect tracking, source control, build and test automation, and release management
Knowledge of .Net Frameworks
DESIRE QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Able to multitask and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant coursework in C programming languages
  • Self-motivated performer with a desire to work on a project team, learning and developing software features
  • Ability to working effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve common goals

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,700 - $127,700."
