Job Description

As a key member of the IT Team, the Jr Network Analyst is responsible for all aspects of network administration including servers, desktop systems, and communications hardware/software and office systems. Schedules and performs server backups. Logs backup jobs daily. Maintain necessary documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Schedules and performs server backups. Logs backup jobs daily. Maintain necessary documentation.
  • The position will also work closely with the IT steering committee and decision makers in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
  • Evaluates customer request for services and recommend hardware and software solutions.
  • Prioritize multiple urgent requests based on urgency and impact.
  • Documents network issues and configuration changes as soon as they occur. May perform upgrades, preventative maintenance, or equipment installation.
  • Notifies the Helpdesk and management of any system downtime. Ability to explain to the Helpdesk and management the extent of any system downtime, so proper action will be taken.
  • Work as a liaison between vendors to ensure new servers are built and deployed within targeted timeframe.
  • Responsible for providing outstanding desktop support Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation on an as needed basis
  • Assist the Desktop Services Team by responding to, documenting and resolving issues. Document, track and monitor problems using a ticketing system to ensure resolution
  • Monitors performance and performs maintenance processes to ensure network systems operate at required levels of speed and reliability.

Experience:
  • Highschool Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • Business of health related field preferred.
  • Experience in all areas of local and wide area networks management and administration including system configuration, setup, troubleshooting, planning, designing, implementation, and user support; experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies; experience supporting telecommunications equipment.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of setting up remote access for users required.
  • CompTIA Network + preferred
  • Have solid experience working with Active Directory , Azure, Office 365, & Intune
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers and desktop products required.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $60,000
