Job Description
Overview:

Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. JIRA Server Administrator to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract located at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB) in Colorado Springs, CO.

JOB STATUS: Full-Time

TRAVEL:


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills)
  • Must have, or obtain, an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
  • Must be able to be on site frequently in either Colorado Springs, CO or Redstone Arsenal, AL
  • Must have knowledge of JIRA or similar system.
  • Must have 2 years of directly related experience in an engineering field.
  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 1 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 0 years of general experience.

SECURITY
CLEARANCE:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants
  • Must have, or obtain, an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

EDUCATION:
HS Diploma (or GED)

CERTIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
Experienced (Non-Manager)


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Experience writing automation scripts.
  • Experience practicing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery end to end using Atlassian tools.
  • Ability to construct custom dashboards and advanced filters
  • Experience customizing JIRA projects with various issue types, schemas, complex workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform similar actions in classified environment.
  • Install and configure JIRA, Confluence, and Align.
  • Verify STIG compliance.
  • Collaborate on customizing the JIRA based on the work management standards, manage license availability, monitor server health, apply patches as needed and contribute to the successful growth of the system usage throughout the enterprise.
  • Test and apply application patches as needed.
  • Manage available disk space.
  • Participate in server design meetings.
  • Respond to requests and trouble tickets within the Remedy ticketing system.

Benefits:

Salary Range:
Estimated $54,422 USD - $86,560 USD
