We are currently looking for a Jr. Data Analyst for our branch located at 2605 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT. The Junior Data analyst will be the individual at Bank of Utah responsible for the data aggregation and analysis of Bank data. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data aggregation, Bank data, and reporting applications. User admin and report custodian of primary reporting application. Responsible to coordinate and assist in data projects from different business units with their role. Responsible to assist in Bank data projects. The main responsibility in this position is to engineer data to turn it into useable flows for further analysis in visualizations. The Junior Data Analyst is expected to assist in the collections and analysis of data using data analytic tools and RPA tools to gather and organize reliable data.

To qualify for this Jr. Data Analyst position, you must have:
- Demonstrated knowledge in Tableau
- Preferred coding skills in languages such as SQL and Python
- Strong communication skills, open to feedback, organized, willing to follow up with multiple parties
- Pursuing career in analytics/business intelligence
- Passion for banking, finance, and technology
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or other relevant field of study to business or analytics
- Once the data has been collected, in order to allow for proper comparison, the analyst must filter and "clean" the data to remove errors and ensure consistency and completeness of data.
- Desire to learn and apply new skills This Jr. Data Analyst position requires you to:
- Extract data using structure Query Language (SQL)/Tableau Prep to identify integrity issues.
- Skills in data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques
- Extract and report Data from Business Analytics platforms.
