As a Valet Attendant, you are the first and last person patients and guests see during their visit, which allows you to make a positive first and last impressions. In this role, you will welcome patients & guests, and park and retrieve their vehicles. Alongside your fellow team members, you will help elevate the patient experience- this is where our culture shines!

Location

• Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ

Hours of Operation

• Monday to Friday (Full-Time/Part-Time)
  • 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Position Overview

• Park and retrieve guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following driving best practices and obeying traffic laws
• Answer guests' questions regarding medical offices or department locations.
• Assist guests by opening doors, exiting cars, handling luggage, wheelchairs/walkers, and assisting with entering or exiting the facility
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, guests, and team members
• Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility

Position Requirements

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, paying attention to surroundings and details
• Ability to work in a stationary position for hours at a time in an outdoor environment
• Ability to effectively build relationships with patients, guests, and team members
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Drive a manual transmission (not required but a plus)
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Between 19 - 65 years of age (per company insurance policy)
• Possesses a good driving record and a valid, in-state driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
• Ability to move with urgency and speed
