• Experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java-based frameworks, this team utilizes a homegrown system
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
• 2+ years of experience in Java software development
• Passion for technology and open to learning other languages/frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Cloud experience, preferably AWS
• Java 8 experience
• Experience migrating applications to the cloud

• Maintaining and writing code for complex systems that address project specifications and guidelines
• Participating in daily stand ups at 9:30am ET
• Working with other team members to resolve problems or issues
• Mentoring under senior and lead engineers on the team
• Participating in 2-week sprint cycles
• Perform unit testing and complex debugging
• Participating in code reviews
