What this role is all about:

We are looking for a Janitor in Jerome, ID. The Janitor performs all tasks involved in maintaining a clean work environment; adhering to the Master Cleaning Schedule and practicing safe work habits. The Janitor works in all areas of the plant as needed.

• Perform work safely and efficiently in all areas of the plant including break rooms, locker rooms, offices, and corridors.
• Ensure work area and janitorial supplies are properly organized and maintained.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
• Starting pay $16.99
• $1.50 shift premium for night shift

What you need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues.
• Lift truck license required; in-house training provided.

Where you’ll be working:

Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.

Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year.

• The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
