This is a multi-faceted role in the IT Group responsible for supporting all technology aspects of a multi-office design engineering/surveying firm. The focus of this position is to provide general IT support to all end users within WithersRavenel via Helpdesk software. WithersRavenel is an Employee-Owned firm that excels in full-service engineering, land planning, geomatics, environmental and technology-based solutions creating the best WithersRavenel Client Experience possible. The role of the IT Group is to fully support that effort in every way feasible for all employees. This position is not designed to provide a supervisory role for personnel in its current form.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist IT staff with projects as needed
• Organize and manage IT equipment
• Monitor and act on security issues
• Provide support via phone/email/remote/in person interaction
• Set up and install new user accounts and equipment (computers, printers, tablets)
• Other duties as defined
• Complete various helpdesk related tasks and assignments
• Travel to remote offices for general support needs
• Provide support for mobile computing (cell phones, laptops, tablets)
• Install and maintain computer software and hardware

Requirements

• Windows 10 experience
• 4-year degree in computer related major
• Experience supporting a Microsoft environment
• Troubleshooting computer hardware and software problems

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with WordPress and website maintenance
• Experience with corporate imaging and deployment tools
• Experience with CAD software (AutoDesk, MicroStation)

Working Conditions

The assignment may require infrequent evening/weekend work. Candidates should enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-driven environment.

Physical Requirements

The assignment may occasionally require repetitive physical tasks (such as operating a computer), standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, extended time travelling in a vehicle, and carrying equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
