Job Description
Samsung SDS America is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team in Kokomo, Indiana. You will provide enterprise-level technical assistance to our affiliate client and guests onsite. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our clients install applications and programs. Technical Support responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote desktop connections to provide immediate support. If you’re naturally a helper, enjoy assisting people with computer issues and are able to explain technical details simply, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be a person our customers trust. They will rely on you to provide timely and accurate solutions to their technical problems.

Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the initial point of contact for internal applications, hardware, mobile and remote technology in a manufacturing environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems
  • Provides technical advice to executive-level and their assistant based on developed expertise in the field of IT
  • Document procedures, FAQs, and inventory of assets
  • Follow up on any outstanding issues with customers regarding status and closure of incidents/requests
  • Build trust and good relationships with customer and act as a bridge between customer and consulting group for new business opportunities
  • Log, categorize, and take action on all incoming ticket activity in the Helpdesk Ticketing system
  • Provide extraordinary IT support to customers at the C-level, and ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Isolate problem trends and complete troubleshooting efforts for recurring problems until discovery of permanent solutions


Requirements


  • Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet defined SLA's
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • Strong working knowledge of core applications including Windows 7/10/11, Microsoft Office, Imaging Software, SCCM and Active Directory
  • 3+ years of Corporate Tech Support experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Android mobile in corporate experience
  • Strong understanding of MES system
