Job Description

A globally renowned automotive parts manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Industry 4.0 (i4.0) Lead at their flagship production facility in Southwest Michigan due to their continued growth. Reporting directly to the Site Director, this individual will lead a large team in the strategic, ongoing implementation of Industry 4.0 for the entire operation. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze scope of work requirements (manpower, timelines, resources) in order to develop short-term and long-term roadmaps for transformation process.
  • Drive adoption of new systems and functionality at all levels through communication and training.
  • Strategically lead Industry 4.0 implementation journey in order to leverage benefits of ‘smart factory’ capabilities like real-time data tracking, process optimization, predictive maintenance, etc.
  • Manage departmental and project budgets and recommend most effective use of financial resources on technology, software, etc.
  • Work closely with Corporate IT leadership with regard to benchmarking and standardization.


Required Qualifications:

  • Experience managing departmental/project budgets.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (IT, Engineering)
  • Proven ability to enthusiastically lead large teams and transformations.
  • 3+ years of Industry 4.0 integration experience.
  • 5+ years of IT experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
