Job Title: IT Intern

Reports To: IT Support Engineer

Job Locations: Bryan, OH

Basic Job Functions:

Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. manufactures and distributes engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and TRUFASTWalls® for exterior building envelopes and facades. IT Intern will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. They are responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate referrals to appropriate technical professionals.
• Review event logs and take appropriate action to resolve issues.
• Identifies, investigates, and researches user questions and problems. Provides corrective instructions to user or implements corrective actions.
• Maintain Antivirus software at both server and pc levels. Ensure systems are up to date and are scanning correctly.
• Installs, repairs, troubleshoots, pc?s ,office equipment, data collectors, and other related hardware.
• Reviews users actions and instructs users to perform diagnostic procedures.
• Backup up key systems and databases. Maintain backup tapes and backup software packages. Verify and test ability to restore.
• Helps resolve hardware and software problems.
