Position Overview

PAN is seeking an IT Intern who is passionate about Information Technology with a focus on Cyber Security and eager to learn and play an important role in supporting the IT departmental needs to further its goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to gain hands-on experience.


Responsibilities

  • Support in creating roadmap to enhance PAN’s security posture based on previous audits, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
  • Support with development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and controls identified from vulnerability scans and as recommended by our VCISO.
  • Assist in updating PAN’s IT policies and SOPs.
  • Interact with internal staff and vendors to resolve customer issues/inquiries, provide feedback, and resolution.
  • Assist with other IT projects as needed/assigned.
  • Assist in research and development projects related to Cyber Security.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Interest in data projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with IT hardware and generic trouble shooting a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Cyber Security concepts and principles.
