Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT Director with expertise in Order Management, specifically SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, and a proven track record of working with SAP S/4, including the implementation of S/4 from legacy ERP systems. As the IT Director of Order Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing technology solutions related to the end-to-end Order-to-Cash process within SAP S/4. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, logistics, finance, and other IT units, to align technology strategies with overall business objectives and drive successful S/4 implementation projects.


Responsibilities:
  • Sales Order Management: Oversee the design and optimization of sales order management workflows within SAP S/4, including quoting, order creation, pricing, availability checks, credit management, invoicing and delivery processing.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with implementation partners, consultants, and technology vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Change Management: Help develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate the smooth transition from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4, including training programs, communication plans, and user adoption initiatives.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive testing and quality assurance plans to ensure the reliability and accuracy of SAP S/4 implementation for Order-to-Cash, including system performance, data integrity, and end-to-end process testing.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, while ensuring a high level of performance and collaboration.
  • SAP S/4 Implementation: Lead and oversee the implementation of SAP S/4 for Order Management, specifically focusing on the Order-to-Cash process, including project planning, resource allocation, system configuration, testing, and user training.
  • Data Migration and Integration: Lead the analysis of legacy ERP data to identify data quality issues, data mapping requirements, and data migration strategies for the Order-to-Cash process, ensuring accurate and seamless data transition to SAP S/4. Define and implement integration solutions between SAP S/4 and other systems, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the IT team and business partners, focusing on Order Management and SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, to ensure the effective use of technology in supporting the end-to-end O2C process.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Help define and implement reporting and analytics capabilities within SAP S/4 and our business intelligence system to provide actionable insights on Order-to-Cash performance, customer behavior, and sales trends.
  • Legacy ERP Migration: Collaborate with finance executives, sales leaders, and IT teams to help define a comprehensive roadmap and strategy for migrating from legacy ERP systems to SAP S/4, with a specific emphasis on Order-to-Cash processes and data.
  • Requirements Definition: Work closely with key stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for SAP Order-to-Cash, ensuring the successful translation of business needs into technical specifications for the SAP S/4 implementation project.


Required Skills and Experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including sales, customer service, logistics, and finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex Order-to-Cash issues and drive process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is highly preferred. Extensive experience (8+ years) in IT management roles, with a strong focus on technology solutions for Order Management and hands-on experience with SAP S/4, specifically in the area of Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Experience in change management, integration, and vendor management within the context of SAP S/4 implementations, specifically related to Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high-performance goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes within SAP, including sales order management, pricing, availability checks, credit management, delivery processing, billing, and invoicing.
  • Professional certifications such as SAP certifications, specifically in SAP SD and FI/CO, and relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with legacy ERP systems and experience in migrating to SAP S/4, with a specific emphasis on Order-to-Cash processes and data migration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results within deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of IT cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies relevant to Order Management and SAP S/4.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4 modules relevant to Order-to-Cash, such as Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM) and integration with other modules.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading SAP S/4 implementations, specifically in the Order-to-Cash domain, including project planning, data migration, system configuration, and user training.
