It Computer Operator Support I - Entry Level

Overview:

Job Summary:

• The IT Computer Operator I is responsible for daily file transfers through the Front End to include Patient Logs, Patient Demographics, and Patient Charts. Operator will also be responsible for executing the daily print functions.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions and Tasks:

• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
• Uses automated program to download reports from hospital systems and transfers to appropriate work folders
• Works with internal IT team to resolve internal system issues and programming issues

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• At least one (1) year of experience with Windows and MS based applications
• High School Diploma or GED required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of HIPPA compliance
• Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time management skills
• Basic knowledge of computer systems
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle highly sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet monthly changing deadlines
• Ability to remain flexible and work within a collaborative and fast paced environment
