It Business Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.

Duties: Perform technical and architecture design analysis to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Conduct business analysis and identify system improvements and process changes for regulatory and other critical projects. Provide input during development and implementation phases. Define systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects. Identify and communicate risks and impacts. Propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of application of technology to current business environment. Perform stakeholder management by consulting with business clients to determine system functional specifications and work with management teams and other units to meet organizational objectives. Perform business process reengineering and optimization analysis by assessing current process flows and identifying areas of system improvements using business process re-engineering methodologies. Design user interfaces, reengineer existing functionality, and develop strategy component design for desktop platform. Identify system improvements and process changes as part of buildout of application. Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements to recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards. Provide analyses to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic functional decisions. Assess risk of business decisions.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 4 years of experience as an Associate - Project Execution, Lead Business Analyst, Business System Analyst, or related position involving business and systems analysis. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 6 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 4 years of experience must include: Project management activities; Decision and risk analysis; Technical systems and architecture design analysis; Business process reengineering and optimization analysis; Business analysis principles; Stakeholder management.
