Overview

As a Business Financial Analyst, you'll be responsible for supporting reporting, accruals, and budgeting/forecasting for multiple east coast distribution centers by preparing monthly accruals and reports on expense and capital spending, with emphasis on explaining variances from plan and forecast.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit PO Requests
• Assist with change order submissions and approvals
• Maintain CapEx budget actuals and forecast details to be able to prepare the monthly forecast, month-end, and EOY accruals
• Develop models and tools that can improve monthly forecasting with the emphasis on being able to explain variances, and maintain project financial costs and ETC
• New vendor set-up
• Assist with invoice payment and approvals
• Research and resolve PO Requests and invoices issues
• Maintain budget trackers

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and P&L preparation
• Experience with accruals and forecasting
• Ability to analyze data and perform advanced financial analysis.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint
• Ability to deliver accurate results and meet tight deadlines
• 2+ year of Finance/Accounting experience
• Experience with an ERP AP system such as Oracle is a plus
• Advanced Excel user (Pivot tables, formulas, vLOOKUPs)
