We are seeking an IT Audit Associate to continue our efforts to improve and develop our Group’s Internal Audit function. This newly created role will help drive the development of this recently established global audit team.
What You'll Do:
The Associate will lead internal audits together with an international team from various Amer Sports areas (Brand headquarters, support functions, retail stores). This role will conduct in-depth inquiry and data analysis to understand complex cyber & technology operations across the various areas and assess risk based on industry risk profile; develops project scope for complex and cross-functional process areas, leveraging business knowledge and expertise. Specific responsibilites may include:
  • Perform/administer special projects and tasks as assigned
  • Execute scope of work with both internal and external customers in mind when identifying control issues
  • Set and adheres to detailed project timelines including concrete project milestones
  • Communicate the progress of audits, deviations from timelines and findings to management on a timely basis
  • Lead the development of audit objectives, scope and audit programs through a risk assessment of the business process being reviewed
  • Share best practices, help improve operational efficiencies and procedures; identify and assess controls against best practices
  • Based on changes or new information arising during the audit process, quickly adapts and tailors approach based on identified risk and builds a custom remediation strategy that aligns with enterprise initiatives and systemically addressed root cause
  • Devise data driven and risk-based conclusions and clearly documents findings based on testing results
  • Prepare clear and well-organized audit work documentation within an automated workflow that clearly documents root-cause, work performed, investigation summaries, recommendations, and action plans & follow up items as necessary
  • Assist with post-investigation follow up to determine adequacy of corrective actions taken, combining knowledge of BU operations with testing results to determine control effectiveness
  • Assess documentation, processes, methods, policies, costs, and other factors to determine if assigned scope areas are operating in accordance with established and relevant controls and in a way that adequately mitigates identified risks
What We're Looking For :
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, data analytics or related discipline. We are seeking a candidate with 4-6+ years of audit experience including a minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT Governance, IT Risk, IT Audit, IT Operations or related fields, preferably with a Fortune 1000 companies or Big 4 assurance organization.

Candidates must have a strong knowledge of IT Operational Functions including IAM, Asset Management, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy; and demonstrate a lean Process orientation along with a passion to help improve operations continuously. Other qualifications include:
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex projects; ability to collaborate as a team as well as work independently
  • Ability to travel depending on scope of the audit
  • Strong written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking skills with close attention to detail and strong sense of organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects keeping due dates in mind, demonstrating strong project management skills with a proactive mindset
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills; ability to take large volumes of complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner; uses data and a cogent problem-solving methodology in decision making and impact assessment
