FUNCTION: Investor Relations and New Business Development

REPORTS TO: CEO

PTM launched its first Opportunity Zone Fund, PTM Partners Opportunity Zone Fund I, LP in 2018 and raised approximately $100MM, currently invested across four qualified opportunity zone developments in Florida and Washington, D.C. Position Description


Investor Relations Marketing Analyst/ Associate

To assist senior management and executives to build market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships. This includes preparing and managing investor presentations, managing the firm’s internal CRM software, speaking with current and prospective capital partners and investors, and spearheading all corporate marketing efforts.

To research potential strategies and screen potential new investments by researching real estate markets, submarkets, and asset classes that can lead to developing new business lines and/or development projects. Traveling to and meeting with potential partners and investors is a key component in this role.


Responsibilities


Communication

  • Respond to investor inquiries and requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support all marketing and communications with the investment community regarding the company’s business model, operating results, and business strategy

Presentations

  • Support all marketing efforts —including preparation of quarterly newsletters, quarterly and annual financial statement releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, investor presentations, and other associated materials;
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitor research, including keeping track of investment vehicles, strategy and performance of peers
  • Work across functions to obtain and synthesize information from the respective teams in order to prepare materials and respond to ad hoc requests

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor records, including contact information, investment details, and communication logs.
  • Advise on and support all aspects of investor marketing, including core processes to build and maintain our investor database and CRM
  • Track activities and investor pipeline
  • Coordinate investor, prospect, and consultant calls and meetings
  • Ensure the timely delivery of investor requests, potential investor requests, and marketing materials


Qualifications

The Responsibilities:

  • Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrated interest in real estate investment and development
  • High EQ and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with strong academic performance
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to thirty percent (30%) of the time
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
