About This Role


Wells Fargo is seeking an Investment Banking Program Associates for our Gaming and Leisure Investment Banking team. They will cover jobs responsible for building, maintaining, and growing relationships with investment banking clients. Individuals have frequent interactions with clients to understand and meet their needs. Jobs are part of a formal training or rotational program to develop key skills and gain a working knowledge of the organization.


In This Role, You Will


  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Participate in analyzing companies and client investments
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Present recommendations for resolving business challenges and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Review and analyze market data, valuation analyses, models, and presentations that require research, evaluation, selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
  • Make recommendations to clients on investments
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within Investment Banking Program
Required Qualifications, US:


  • 2+ years of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:


  • Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
  • A Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience with leveraged buyouts
  • 2+ years of Investment Banking Gaming and Leisure experience
  • An individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to work long hours in a demanding, highly focused, collaborative, and team environment
Job Expectations:


  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required
  • Base salary range for this role in NY, NY and LA, CA is $175,000-$225,000
Pay Range


$126,400.00 - $262,600.00 Annual
