Investment Banking Associate Jobs

Our client, a leading Global Investment Bank is looking to add an additional Associate into their Los Angeles based Gaming, Leisure and Lodging team.

This team is responsible for structuring and executing a wide range of complex domestic and cross-border transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, spin-offs, joint-ventures and defenses against unsolicited takeover attempts.

Specifically looking for an Associate who will be responsible to:

• Execute relevant industry transactions across a broad range of IBD solutions (M&A in particular but some degree of ECM , Leveraged Finance and DCM)
• Advise and work closely with clients on all transaction elements, including modelling and valuation, financial and strategic analysis, deal financing, due diligence coordination, negotiations, deal structuring, etc

The ideal candidate will have a background as follows:

• M&A deal experience in Gaming, Leisure, Lodging required
• Excellent financial modelling experience (operating models, capital models, merger models, LBO etc)
• Excellent financial modelling skills
• Good academic qualifications and demonstrated performance
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• A proven background in Corporate finance / M&A. Ideally 3-5 years experience.
• Strong communications skills – ability to interact confidently with banking professionals
