Summary
Our client, based in Chicago and with over $16B in AUM, is seeking an energetic and driven Investment Analyst to join the firm’s Seeding and Strategic Capital team. This team applies a rigorous investment process to identify best-in-class real estate investments with GP economics.

Our client is a leader in providing real estate solutions and structuring sale leaseback transactions with investment grade tenants, as well as providing seeding and strategic institutional capital to early-stage real estate managers in exchange for revenue shares and GP economics.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the investment due diligence process by participating in meetings with potential investment partners, analyzing investment strategies and track records, creating and reviewing financial models and creating investment memoranda
- Support the monitoring of the existing portfolio and the creation of fund update presentations including detailed information related to investments, performance, pipeline, and general firm updates
- Work with Seed and Strategic Capital (SASC) teams to update & maintain firm-level updates and SASC database including investment pipeline, contacts, clients and reporting
- Be the point of contact and coordination of all incoming product and/or firm related questionnaires information requests from prospective & current clients
- Help with coordination of various investor-related informational and portfolio update events, such as investment update materials, periodic events, and annual meeting
- Travel to various markets to perform investment due diligence through property tours, market tours and office onsite
- Attention to detail and proven analytical and organizational skills

- A client relations-orientation and a sensitivity to the urgent needs of time-sensitive projects

Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required, 1-4 years of experience
- Proficient experience across Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Basic knowledge of the institutional investment vehicles and financial modeling preferred but not required
- Must have or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.
