Transamerica is organized by lines of business (Life Insurance, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Retirement Plans, Employee Benefits, and Financial Assets), which are supported by Transamerica Corporate (Corporate Development; Finance; Internal Audit; Legislative, Regulatory & Policy; Office of the CEO; People, Places & Brand; Risk; and Technology).
Summary
Provide investment analysis for institutional defined contribution retirement plan clients.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze usage, performance and trends of advisory business and investment services.
  • Serve as primary quantitative analysis resource for the Directors of Wealth Management and Director of Investment Research.
  • Assist with monitoring and analysis of both proprietary and third-party investment strategies.
  • Apply portfolio construction algorithm to build and update proprietary asset allocation portfolios.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly investment related marketing and performance materials.
  • Maintain documentation of investment processes and guidelines.
  • Serve as an investment resource for business areas including Business Review, Compliance, and Field Representatives.
  • Analyze and update GIPS composites and performance.
  • Conduct investment analysis and apply quantitative and qualitative screening guidelines on investment strategies to be offered.
Qualifications
  • PC proficiency using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Three years of investment related experience, preferably in the retirement plan industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related discipline, or equivalent education/experience
  • Communication skills to effectively work with business groups and develop/provide market commentary and other materials
  • Analytical ability to gather and analyze complex information
Preferred Qualifications
  • CFA or completing coursework for CFA
  • Investment analysis experience

It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**

Compensation:
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $60,000-$70,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2 and other applicable local regulations.

Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion.
