Description
The Investment Analyst will have the position of providing extensive support for Investment Department, including assisting in the implementation of the firm’s asset allocation process and strategy, market and economic information gathering, conducting fund analysis, and producing periodic written communications and reports.
Responsibilities
- Marketing/Sales:
- Fulfill ad hoc investment-related requests from other departments
- Prepare documents for RFPs and other due diligence requests
- Maintain investment allocations in internal systems
- Monitor and update economic data and charts
- Investments:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on existing and prospective fund investments, including analyzing fund strategy and composition, evaluating performance and statistics, and reviewing prospectuses and other key fund documents
- Participate in meetings with fund portfolio managers and fund family representatives
- Monitor and update economic data and charts
- Complete research and custom reports as needed
- Assist in the production and review of the department’s written communications, presentations, and other deliverables

Essential Job Function: This is NOT an Essential Job Function “Essential Staff” position.
Qualifications
Competencies Required:
- Experience with Morningstar and Bloomberg platforms a plus
- Proficient in use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, advanced Excel skills preferred
- Positive attitude and team player
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize time and manage multiple tasks
- Basic understanding of financial markets
Education
- 0-3 years of prior related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
- FINRA Series 65 License is required or completed within 120 days of hire
Salary Range:
Starting salary is typically between $60,000 and $80,000 annually, however, it is ultimately determined by the scope of the position the candidate’s relevant experience, and internal equity.
