Investment Analyst – High Yield Credit – Downtown Columbus, Ohio

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS) has a 60-person investment staff that manages a $100 billion portfolio of diversified assets across public and private markets. Our division works to ensure the long-term financial health of the Plan, which benefits over one million Ohioans who have dedicated their careers to public service. We seek someone with solid research and analytical abilities to join our High Yield Credit team. You will help maintain, grow, and oversee certain sectors and companies in our bond portfolio. You will work with a team of knowledgeable investment professionals in an exciting and stable environment where no two days will ever be alike!

What you’ll bring

• At least 3 years investments experience (credit analysis experience would be a plus)
• Experience with Bloomberg and Aladdin is preferred
• A bachelor's degree is required with a master's degree or MBA preferred
• The ability to become licensed as a State Retirement System Investment Officer (SRSIO) within six months of hire and to abide by the OPERS Personal Trading Policy is required
• CFA charter highly preferred
• Must be proficient with basic to intermediate to advance experience with Internet Web Browsers (e.g., Chrome) and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
