Investigative Analyst (Cif) Jobs

TMC Technologies is in search of an Investigative Analyst to support a federal client in Rosslyn, VA. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements. This position is considered to have a hybrid work schedule and will require on site work at least two days per week. This role supports the Computer Investigations and Forensics team within the CTI Office. The Investigative Analyst will:

• Stay up-to-date on investigative analysis tools and techniques.
• Prepare actionable crime and intelligence reports and visualizations supporting ongoing investigations.
• Identify and contextualize relevant internal, protected data with open-source or third party data sets.
• Conduct data analysis from a multitude of sources to identify patterns, trends and connections between offenders, victims and other elements of an investigation.
• Engage in information sharing with DS’ criminal investigation teams and their partners.
• Provide investigative analytical support by leveraging intelligence and law enforcement databases in support of DS’ criminal investigative mission.

• Experience utilizing investigative and intelligence analytical tools.
• Knowledge of criminal investigations and operational and law enforcement techniques.
• Possess CCNA, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, SSCP or equivalent certification.
• Ability to collaborates effectively among cross-functional teams.
• Ability to extract and contextualize useful information from multiple data source types to support investigations.
• US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience required. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Familiarity using Maltego or similar software to perform data mining and visualizations.
