Position Summary


The Inventory Supervisor must be able to take direction from various sources; prioritize personal and departmental tasks to meet the division business objectives; and optimize opportunities to improve cost, quality, delivery performance, department efficiencies and overall service within the Warehouse location in Panama City, FL for Supply Chain Management

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Supervises the personnel who receive, kit, issue, ship, and return materials, finished goods, supplies, and hardware to operations and other locations.
  • Ensure that all inventory is stored properly and maintained in orderly condition.
  • Inventory Supervisor’s is primarily responsible to ensure that all materials and supplies are properly recorded and available in sufficient quantities and on-time for all projects and operational activities.
  • Adhere to company core values.
  • Responsible for accuracy and effectiveness of cycle count program and overall inventory and WIP accuracy.
  • The Materials Supervisor is responsible to oversee the assignment of daily work including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, development, empowerment, and coaching employees assigned to the department.
  • Directly responsible for effectiveness of warehouse operations. including goods in/out, hazardous material reporting, reclamation, tracking, interface with customs and regulatory agencies,


Non-essential


  • Other duties and job functions as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to the Quality Management System, and Oceaneering policies and procedures.
  • Manage and facilitate improvements in data integrity and data exchange in all aspects of inventory and work in process, optimizing for all related functions.
  • Assist division and corporation management to meet business objectives.


Required


Qualifications


  • Must be able to acquire and maintain an active TWIC.
  • Proficiency in utilization of DRP / MRP and supporting applications.
  • Ntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Minimum five years materials, purchasing or inventory experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Production and Operations Planning or related field or equivalent combination of related experience and education.
  • Interpret Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) generated data and action messages.
  • Understand and interpret technical specifications


DESIRED


  • Professional certificates desired: CPIM, CPM
  • Previous experience using PeopleSoft
