Job Description
Job Summary


As an Inventory and Fulfillment Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control and order fulfillment operations. You will work closely with various teams, including procurement, warehouse, logistics , and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.


JOB RESPONSIBILITES


Inventory Management


  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and policies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and make strategic recommendations to optimize inventory levels and improve supply chain efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and perform cycle counts to identify discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely replenishment of stock and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.


Order Fulfillment


  • Monitor order fulfillment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to prioritize orders, resolve order-related issues, and meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
  • Oversee the order fulfillment process, from order receipt to shipment, ensuring timely and accurate order processing.


Warehouse Operations


  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize warehouse layout, organization, and workflow for efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Implement and utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory management tools to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.


Data Analysis And Reporting


  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to inventory levels, order volumes, lead times, and other relevant metrics.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into inventory performance, order fulfillment efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction enhancement.


Team Management


  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and skills for smooth day-to-day operations and effective execution of departmental goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of inventory control and fulfillment personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.


Job Requirements


  • Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements in inventory and fulfillment management.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics , business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software, warehouse management systems (WMS), and other related tools.
  • Proven experience 3 years in inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, demand forecasting, and supply chain management.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in inventory management and order fulfillment processes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
