This shift would work our 12-9pm EST shift

Service Express is looking for a talented professional who wants the opportunity to serve as an Inventory Control Specialist for our organization.

The main role of an Inventory Control Specialist is to manage our organization’s inventory health by working side-by-side with all teams within the Supply Chain and our Field Service Engineers. It will also be important for this candidate to know how our business affects the other business units within Service Express, and how to tailor our processes to better serve them.

A Successful Inventory Control Specialist Must

• Assist our Logistics and Lab team with Inbound and Outbound inventory movement at our Distribution Center.
• Maintain the organization of our Distribution Center.
• Provide outstanding service and support for SE’s field engineers.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate Inventory Control with company processes.
• Reverse Logistics returns and RMA’s.
• Distribution Center’s cycle count and purging of excess inventory.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
• Monitoring that inventory spares are kept in the proper locations, matching our Service Offices and customer needs.
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of parts are in stock.
• Assistance relocating, opening, and closing inventory offices and sites companywide.
• Review, research, and monitor parts discrepancies.
• Shipping assistance to the Purchasing team during On Call hours.
• Work with managers and team members to implement new strategies or initiatives.
