Inventory Control - Material Handling (Conversion)

Job Summary:

• Materials team member who updates records and maintains levels of material or finished goods in a timely manner. Audits and maintain accuracy in part location and overall system accuracy. Receives material in the system and coordinates system transactions for issuing material to operations.

Responsibilities:

• Measures inventory accuracy and participates with the investigation into root causes
• Receives product into the system and works with material planning to resolve receipt discrepancies
• Issues material to shop orders, shipments, and bulk issues
• Count and update amounts of materials in order to accurately communicate material stock to utilize in decision-making for material planning or production teams
• Supports in the creation of standard work for inventory maintaining process

• Assists with material handling including put away and picking operations

Qualifications:

• Actively practices and promotes safety
• Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude

• Experience in warehouse or Manufacturing environment preferred
• Committed to continuous improvement in products, services, and processes.
• Moderate computer skills and basic math
• Previous experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts or order pickers is a plus
