JUMP Reading seeks motivated education professionals with passion for teaching children to read. At JUMP Reading, you will be encouraged to expand your repertoire of teaching tools, receive specialized training using the Orton-Gillingham approach, and work with struggling readers in a one on one, remote learning environment. Our mission is to help struggling students become independent readers by providing new foundational tools for word attack, spelling solutions, and reading comprehension skills.

About JUMP Reading

An online reading clinic, JUMP Reading provides accessible reading intervention to students with dyslexia both near and far. Using the Orton-Gillingham approach, our students receive specialized instruction crafted to meet the needs of each student. JUMP Reading sessions are one on one, conducted remotely, and year round. Remote delivery allows continuity of care for students in addition to allowing our interventionists to teach from the comfort of their own home.

Job Qualifications

● 4-Year Degree in education or related field

● Strong commitment to students and literacy

● Access to laptop computer and high-speed internet

● Complete reading intervention training

● Execute one on one instruction sessions

● Keep detailed records of student progress

● Continuing education training annually

● Complete Center for Effective Reading Exam

● Must have a computer and high-speed internet

Position Hours & Pay

● Part Time, Contractor

● 3:30-7:30 pm Central Time, Monday-Thursday

● $20-$25 per hour

● Direct deposits will be made on the 15th and 28th of each month
