Interventional Radiology Rn Jobs

The Interventional Radiology RN works directly with radiologists, nurses, and radiology technologists during vascular/interventional and neuroradiology procedures. You will join a busy IR department in our Level I trauma center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, with a supportive team, and complex and interesting work. You will be expected to make quick decisions and work independently, and carry out the physician’s medical orders, assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, provide a safe and therapeutic environment, and coordinate, communicate, interpret, and explain patient care services to the patient, their family, health professionals, and important others. This position includes patient care and monitoring for all IR procedures including procedural sedation.

Required Qualifications:

• Six months of ICU/ER experience.
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota.
• ACLS certification.
• Completion of a baccalaureate program in nursing or completion of an accredited AD nursing program and a bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Business, or Life Sciences (e.g., Chemistry).

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of interventional radiology experience.
• One year (2080 hours) of ICU/ER experience.

Additional Information:

This is a non-union 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) day shift position with call working in St. Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $39.36-$68.22 per hour, based on experience. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and eligible for benefits.
