JOB SUMMARY:
Working under the direction of the Director, Corporate Communications, the Internal Communications role has responsibility for managing multiple internal initiatives on behalf of a senior leadership and existing stakeholders. This particular role will focus primarily on creating and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that unifies cross geographical teams towards the mission of the company. This position is a brand champion that uses multiple tools to deliver clear, compelling, and timely communications to inform employees about key initiatives, business updates and company news.
REPORTS TO:
Director, Corporate Communications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • This is a storytelling role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, are required
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, or a related field
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of best practices in change management, employee engagement, and internal branding
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in internal communications or related roles, with proven record of successful internal communication strategies
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines is critical
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, including intranet systems, email marketing software and digital signage solutions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive employee engagement by developing and managing innovative and impactful communication programs, campaigns and events, which include, but are not limited to, town halls, DEI initiatives, newsletters, conferences and executive announcements
  • Create and lead timely positive company content to employees through internal platforms and intranet site
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives through dynamic metrics and KPIs
  • Become a trusted advisor and collaborator across multiple teams to develop content for internal communications materials that fits cohesively into core business objectives
  • Provide strategic counsel to leadership on internal communications matters, including change management initiatives, employee engagement, and crisis communication
