Interior Designer Jobs

AERISTO is a leading leather supplier for the aviation interior industry.Additionally, we offer a host of value-added processes such as: decorative quilting, stitching, embroidery, printing, embossing, laser etching, perforating, cut to pattern, etc.

The ideal candidate will have excellent Design Thinking skills. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the team in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with aviation interior design and trends in order to provide the best ideas.

We are currently looking to bring aboard a talented interior designer to facilitate in the following areas:

Responsibilities

• Liaison between the customer and our manufacturing partners to ensure color correctness for custom orders
• Communicate effectively with vendors and team in order to address client's needs
• Ensure samples library remains organized
• Provide analysis on potential missing colors in our collections
• Identify alternate colors in which stock is readily available for customers with immediate needs.
• Help customers and designers in the selection process of leather colors for their projects.
• Manage CFA & ADC samples
• Maintain industry knowledge in order to stay relevant
• Prepare presentations (3D, 2D,mock-ups and renderings) for clients

Work with Design Director on new concepts for:

• Decorative Perforation Designs for seat inserts, side panels, and bulkheads
• Decorative Quilt Designs for seat inserts, side panels, and bulkheads
• Aircraft interior concepts

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to execute
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Proficient in:
• Strong creative and communication skills

Adobe CC Suite (PS, AI, ID, Substance 3D is a plus)

Sketchup Pro

Rhinoceros (Grasshopper is a plus)
