Recently in this spirit, our Volunteers in Action came together at Ward Acres Community Garden in New Rochelle, NY to help with maintenance. The goal of the Garden is to build community, grow vegetables according to organic gardening principles, share tips with fellow gardeners, and help to feed the hungry at soup kitchens and other organizations.
