Instructional Designer/Elearning Developer (Electrical Engin. Software), 5-Months,-100% Virtual

Our client, a global manufacturer in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to create several eLearning modules (created in Articulate Storyline and Camtasia) for internal applications used by Electrical Engineers. Qualified candidates will have experience creating eLearning for software applications and will also be familiar with basic Electrical Engineering (EE) terminology and concepts, which will be of great value when creating content working with EE SME’s.
Start: Mid-June 2023.
Duration: ~5 months (through 10/31/23).
Hours: 25 hours per week with flexible working hours.
Location: 100% virtual.
Skills & Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design & Development of eLearning
• Preferred (not required): Master’s degree in Instructional Technologies or Education
• 3+ years’ experience creating training for software applications
• Must have knowledge of Electrical Engineering terminologies and concepts and ability to work with EE SME’s to create content
• Must be creative, able to work with a variety of personalities, and able to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
• Excellent knowledge of various adult learning theories and principles and current practices for effective asynchronous eLearning
• Must be highly proficient in Articulate 360 (Storyline) and Camtasia (client will provide laptop and licenses)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and WellSaid text to speech tool preferred

Pay: The pay range for this is $50 to $70 per hour. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
