Instructional Designer Jobs

The Instructional Designer will collaborate closely with the Sales and Client Services departments, in addition to providing support to other teams, including Operations, Negotiations, Lending, and Compliance.This position is responsible for updating and enhancing existing training curricula, as well as designing and developing new training programs with a hybrid approach for in-house and remote employee learning, including instructor-led training, eLearning, and virtual delivery.Working with leadership and subject matter experts, this position will conduct needs assessments, provide instructional materials, facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, ensure programs are implemented across all business divisions, and conduct evaluations of content and learning.

Responsibilities at Work

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to determine learning requirements, objectives, and performance discrepancies.

Design and develop instructional materials, such as e-learning modules, materials for instructor-led training, job aides, assessments, and other learning resources.

Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to develop interactive and compelling learning experiences.

Utilize instructional technologies and authoring tools to create multimedia-rich content, integrating appropriate graphics, videos, simulations, and interactive components.

Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure the effective incorporation of various media elements into the instructional materials.

Manage multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality deliverables are produced.

Required Abilities and Skills

Proven experience as an instructional designer or in a comparable position, designing and developing instructional materials for multiple delivery methods (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led training).

Solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional technology.

Expertise in utilizing authoring tools, learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia software to design interactive and engaging learning experiences.

Knowledge of graphic design principles and collaboration skills with multimedia specialists and graphic designers.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and establish productive relationships with key stakeholders.
