Instructional Coach Jobs

Educate partners with teachers, school leaders and school communities to transform learning. Leveraging our experience in education, we collaborate with Pre-K-12 schools to provide customized coaching to ensure schools are vibrant centers of innovation and learning. Many schools are still built on old philosophies and structures that often perpetuate systemic oppression which results in children, especially those in marginalized communities, not experiencing a high quality education where learning feels meaningful and relevant. • Please note this is not a remote role. You must have the ability to travel to school buildings across the New York City area, specifically the Bronx and Yonkers.

• Collaborate well with others digitally and in-person
• Are self-starters that plan ahead, based on established goals and procedures

Our coaches frequently meet virtually and in-person to engage in rich conversations to better their practice and the company as a whole. Educate also provides multiple opportunities for its employees to shine as part of their coaching, including coordinating professional development events, storytelling (blogging, videoing, social media), client management, and much more. People contribute their ideas, creativity in many ways and feel heard by all.

Required Experience for Instructional Coaching:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Guide teachers both individually and in groups to use innovative instructional practices to address learning goals and student outcomes (as defined by client schools)
• Prioritize and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames.
• Measure the effectiveness of instructional supports towards school-wide and individual teacher goals
• Have a minimum of 5 years of full-time teaching and instructional coaching experience in a K-12 private, public or charter school in leveraging technology to enhance instruction through innovative practices.
• Collaborate with school instructional leaders to develop common goals that support the continued growth of teachers and students
• Ability to evaluate and leverage data to strategically plan to support the growth of all learners, including teachers
• In-depth knowledge of innovative instructional practices and ability to meaningfully integrate technology with pedagogy to support all learners in the classroom.
