Description
Innovation Director
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.
The Innovation Director is responsible for building, managing, gaining internal buy-in, advancing, and piloting a portfolio of possible innovative solutions that will support the business growth opportunities and strategic vision.
How You Will Make An Impact
  • Track and report on ideas in the pipeline, on active initiatives in the Innovation funnel, and on pilots that are in development and getting launched.
  • Shepherd innovation initiatives through the Innovation process by assuming a program leadership role as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Build the business case for innovative solutions and make build, buy, and partner recommendations.
  • Work with a cross-functional team to develop innovative concepts around a portfolio of focus areas and explore vendors and technologies in the market that could provide a solution or component of a solution.
  • Develop relationships with the business units to identify opportunities for innovation by understanding problems, needs, and ideas from the business, the customers, and the members and effectively formulates innovative solutions following the innovation process and model.
  • Work with senior executives to secure approval and funding to advance through the innovation process.
  • Establish success metrics (clinical effectiveness, adoption, financial, etc.) to track the effectiveness of start-up solutions and emerging technologies and solutions and align them for scale
Minimum Requirements
Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study and a minimum of 15 years experience in information technology, healthcare, consulting, and/or consumer technologies; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, And Experiences
  • Consulting background (Bain, McKinsey, BCG) and/or MBA highly preferred.
  • 4 + years of experience in driving project and program execution, strategy, and product management.
  • Demonstrated results with progressively increasing responsibilities and proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and work with a geographically distributed team.
  • Master’s Degree preferred
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $142,560 to $256,608.
Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
