The Business Innovation Branch is searching for a motivated, skilled, and challenge-seeking individual who enjoys innovation, problem solving, and is interested in working with an exciting team of professionals in a fast-paced environment. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the incumbent will be responsible for independently performing the full range of analytical, administrative, technical, and documentation tasks associated with innovating and supporting business process improvement operations. The incumbent must have excellent prioritization, communication, and organizational abilities, and the desire to support the Department's


mission, vision, values, and business priorities. The incumbent provides innovative support for Program Operations divisions inculding California Medicaid Management Information Systems (CA-MMIS), Clinical Assurance Division (CAD), Provider Enrollment Division (PED), and Third Party Liability and Recovery Division (TPLRD).

Working Conditions


Telework is based on operational needs for employees who can perform their essential functions remotely and/or whose duties are conducive to teleworking per DHCS’ Telework Policy and in accordance with Government Code Sections 14200 – 14203 for employees residing in California.


We offer a combination of primarily telework, with limited in-office attendance as determined by the Division’s business needs or an employee’s ability to effectively perform the essential functions remotely. Our campus-style office is located in West Sacramento, offers free parking, and is near the freeway, a shopping center, and several dining options.
